FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Em's last letter was written on 3/21, ship 13 Div 152, had done a practice BS21, the previous week , gas chamber and fire fighting were coming up next, they got a 9 out of 10 on the BS 21, by the way!

are battke stauibs the hardest of all of this? That phone call will be exciting to receive. So it sounds like it will be anytime, am I correct? Time is going fast. Can't wait!!!!

Battlestations page Deanna asked about. Deanna I am not organized, just desperate. I started the group the title is Battlestations Information PIR 04/09/10. I sent the invite to everyone on my friends list. If you don't get the invite, go to the groups tab at the top and change the page to all groups, in the search box type in the title and change to latest it should be there. If you have problems let me know.

I don't really know but I think this has something do so with completing battle stations and then they are supposed to be calling to say they are officially sailors? maybe? any one else with an idea as to the phone call??

I got another letter today although not very long I guess this is a very very busy time for all of them they got another round of shots YUCK!!!
So I expect I won't be hearing anything from her until April 2nd and trust me my cell will be attached to me all day :) Can hardly wait we are all so very close now
