Didn't you say you got the form letter? On the 2nd page of it is where your son filled in his Ship and Div and the address (Like Jessica said on Illinois, Ohio or Kansas) Go by that address. and like I sent you. My guess is the Sailor's Dr address is the one they used while in P-Days (Processing Days)

Thanks, My husband just got out, he said the sight says Illinois Drive. Shows you how lost I am. I am going to be lucky if he stays married to me after this. : )

Sorry, the difference is in the street name. His letter says 3420 Sailor drive and the site said Industrial drive I think. My husband is in the shower and I am not sure how he checked it.

Jessica, I've been watching those YouTube Graduation Videos for a while now. Makes my heart sweal with pride every time! I also watched a few recruit videos that talked about their time at bc and A school. Some of those guys have hillarious senses of humor! My son and I laughed that someday some Mom would be calling her furure sailor in to 'watch this video. This Sailor really had some good points or .. hey, this one is funny! Come watch this!" and it will be my son making the video this time! 45 days is going to fly by!! I can't wait!!

Mardee, my son is on Ship 06 too.. send me a message to my inbox and I'll verify that it's the same as what my son sent me. (The day before I got his letter, his recruiter had given me the same address he did so I'm 99.99% sure I have the right one.)

O.K. I am freaking out. My husband just went on the navy site and it gives a different address for ship 06. It would be like Blaine to get something mixed up, but surely not. Does anyone have any ideas.

Jessica, you are a god send. Thank you for all the wonderful information. This time and before. I sent all the letters I had written since he left to him as soon as I got "The Letter" today. I told Deanna that I feel like such a wimp. However, other than a I miss you I made sure they were all upbeat and full of encouragement. I am so proud of him and I know that this is going to be great in the long run. I talked to his recruiter today and she said she wanted me to know how lucky the Navy was to have, that he had been a great DEP member and she had actually hated to see him go. It made me feel good and I know there are people there who care about him too. Although I am sure they don't show it. Thanks again, you are wonderful

Thanks for another good tip Jessica about week/day. And I meant to say that my friend's son is a Hospital Corpman. ( I know it's all the same, but, wanted to say it correctly.. I'm still learning all the lingo. Though I'm a champ at the alphabet now from helping my son get ready for BC!!) Ha!

Until I hear otherwise from him, I won't send anything other then cards and letters. Because I'm writing a daily journal type letter, I've just been including stuff around town that I think he'd find interesting or funny. Before he left, he worked part time at BlockBuster, so I told him that a water main broke in front of the building and that the road was all blocked off and I bet he was glad he wasn't having to deal with that! I thought he'd appreciate letters that have a little bit of everything with the Mom "I'm so proud of you, I miss you and I love you's" sprinkled in.
