hey all!! Linda Bree asked me to add her to my facebook! I was more then excited about that! She is a wonderful young woman! The little time I got to talk to her anyway! Glad you made it home I have been thinking about you and everyone that I met this past weekend wish I had remembered to write everyone's phone numbers down so that we could have all gotten together with our Sailors. Just gives us all the reason to try to get something together so we can all meet again!

Lori how far are you from GL ? I am in Indiana about 45 minutes north of Indianapolis.

Talk to you all soon!

I agree that the weekend was awesome, the ceremony was moving, and seeing my son was the best of all ! Got to the meet and greet a little late and sleepy from a nap and wish I mingled a little more but thanks to all who made that possible. I had a wonderful time but hard to readjust to life after boot camp I am getting my feet back on the ground now. I too received a gift in overnight liberty which made our time together even better. We too went downtown and to the navy pier. Rob bought a brand new blackberry and I got a call and a few texts already too ! Rob is at Great Lakes for A school and I know there are a few of his friends there with him. They have bonded in a way we will never fully understand. It was bittersweet in having to leave him again but these next few months should be drastically easier than the last two ! Congrats to all.
WELL DONE SAILORS !!

Video of PIR 4-9-10 now online! whoot , thanks to my husband Jeff . He recorded 1:18:01 of the PIR using a flip video camera.

There are several ways to watch this online, be aware there is some shaking and odd camera angles as we were moving around , but wanted to capture the audio as well.

http://www.stevennorris.info/blog/pir/ you can leave comments on that site.

If you have problems viewing this video , you can also go to

If you would like a copy of the video, the quickest way is to use the link above and right click on the video and select SAVE-AS, it can take about a hour to download or longer..

thanks!
