MrsOryD, I know what u mean. I just asked my husband if I should be the first or last to hug him and he said U better be the first and they can just hug me around you lol. I told him I'm not letting go once I hug him :) I would just be the first to run to him. I know there isn't gonna be anything in my way lol

Does anybody have any advice for me...! I am going to PIR with my husband's parents, but my hubby and I have already discussed that we want to be the first to hug each other when we can run up to them. does anybody know how I should tell his mom this? I am not really sure how she will react. He was her third child and the baby. Please help me!!!!!

Look at the countdown ladies... incredible! I'm so excited :) Got a lovely one hour call yesterday- divison 184 won the captain's cup so that was an awesome reward. Patiently awaiting my "I'm a Sailor" call on Wednesday... praying hard for all of our loved ones going through battlestations these next few days!

My son told me about the gas chamber too. He said that he was in the last row so he was one of the last ones to exit. He said that his eyes were watering and his nose was running so bad that afterwards, his sinuses were the clearest they'd been since he got there! =) He said that it sucked and his feelings would NOT be hurt if he never had to go through that again!

Sorry you missed your call. That stinks. I'm glad Rusty sounded good. I did miss a few calls so I camped out by the phone just in case. When I got my sons call, he was so excited about his group and how they were doing. I guess a bunch had pink eye and were sick a few more times. He was in the fifth group that did gas chamber and he said watching how the first groups reacted it was scary. Did any one hear more about that? These men and woman are so brave and we are blessed to know them. What a great opportunity and training the Navy provides for us. Old Mom, battle stations will be soon and I'm glad we know about that call! We are almost there!
