Thank you... there are so many people praying for him that he just HAS to pass! LOL! I know he will but I still worry about him. I guess that's what mothers do... and girlfriends too. =)

Oh I am sorry to hear that. I hope he gets better. Stay positive and I am sure he will get through that run. Devon passed everything and said he was helping people pass who hadn't. He like helping people. He has support from his friends up there and our support down here. I'll pray for him to recover and pass his test.

That stinks! Dylan is borderline on passing PT-2. He hasn't passed the run yet. The chief was very supportive and said that he'd help get hiim through. I hope this new PO doesn't interfere with that! If he doesn't pass the run, it would be the RDC's choice to ASMO him or send him home. He's been sick the whole time. I know everyone gets sick and lots are still sick but he isn't getting better, he's getting worse. When he called he could barely talk with laryngitis and couldn't get through a sentence without hacking for several seconds. I think his "ricky crud" may have developed into bronchitis, and all medical is doing is sending him back with "cold packs" full of throat lozenges and Ibuprofen.

I know what you mean about talking, it's hard to not ramble and ask questions when you haven't talked to them in forever. I have learned that I need to let him do most of the talking and just listen to him. I don't know about the Chief PO but saturday he told me that he had 40 minutes and then his new PO came in yelling after 20 minutes saying he had to get off. He is really mean to them more so than others.

Is anyone in here related to Havens? ship 12 div 178? He wrote me a letter.

He hasn't mentioned it, but I (ashamed to admint) did most of the talking when they called on Saturday. I'll ask him about it, and if that's what he wants to do, we'll be there. That weekend will be all about him.
What's all this I"m reading about a new PO? They still have the same Chief PO right?? That's important to me!

Yes, he talked about Dylan, Sanders, and Zach. He says they all have helped each other. They all sound like really good guys. My bf said that one of the days during graduation weekend there is a group of sailors and their families are going to dinner, Did dylan mention it? He wasn't sure when but, that all the guys wanted to go together with their families. Hope to see you there:)

My son Dylan wrote home that he'd made friends with your BF. Dylan is the EPO for their Division. Of course, all of his letters are short, just mentioned that he'd made some friends and that they were pretty "cool" guys. =)
