Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Comment by AlyciasMom on April 20, 2010 at 6:21pm: I got a call from my daughter today....she has a stress fracture in her heel, PFA is Friday. Dr thinks she won't pass with her heel the way it is. : ( She doesn't know what to do. Dr wants her to get treatment 6-8 weeks, which means she won't graduate on 5/7 of course. I don't know what all this would involve because there is no way to really discuss things with her or anyone there. Like, what would she do that whole time? Would she still get paid? What a day.....ugh. This is terrible and she is grad n go again. This sucks. What ever anyone can tell me....please do.
