Sandy I received several letters yesterday. They are still doing well, they have had a few extra IT sessions because the girls won't stop talking... They took their seamen ship test and learned all about fire extinguishing and tying knots. They are doing great and the time is beginning to pass quickly! the letters were dated from 6 APRIL 2010, but post marked 9 April 2010

I inadvertently clicked my bookmark to the RTC website's "Upcoming Graduations" page. We are now in the middle of the list. I looked at the May 27th PIR list and remembered how we felt that first week after our son left. It is really surprising how fast the time is going (and how slow it still goes at other times).

They put up a "Military Wall of Honor" at his high school honoring graduates who have gone on to serve in any branch of the military. I took a picture this weekend of his name in the Navy section to send to him. Just another reminder that what he is doing is important to a lot of people back home.

it makes it so much better when it's said like that, only 3 more sunday's...I tell people that we have 26 days and they are like "thats like forever away" to me 26 days seems better than saying 4 weeks :) I am so excited and can't wait!!!

I feel the same way. It's nice to get a letter and a phone call but I can't wait to wrap my arms around my kid! I'm so proud of him, I could just burst!
