As to when your sailor leaves after graduation, that depends on if they are "grad n' go", your sailor will know that almost right away. If they are grad n' go, they will leave GL within hours of graduation, if they are leaving to go to the "other side" (TSC) they will have a short indoc at the indoc bldg, and another at their temp ship, then they are allowed liberty. Now i dont know for sure if this is true since i wasn't grad n' go ( and it might depend on their ship), but someone i talk to who was grad n' go said he got over night lib on his "liberty weekend".
As to visitng them on base after "lib weekend" you are allowed to visit them on base during their liberty time. Since they are phase 1, they arn't allowed to leave the base during the week nor are the allowed to wear civi's. Phase 2 is dependent on when they finish all their watch standing req's, written test, and what ever else each ship requires. Liberty isn't always guaranteed either. Sometime they will get it @ 1400, most time 1600ish, or sometimes even later, if at all. The only time they won't get it at all is if someone or multiple someone's really really mess up. They will also have to come to the main gate to get you. You are then allowed to come back to their ship but can only go to the main lounge, you are not allowed to go up to their room.

I got my first phone call today too. It was after 4, it was so great to hear my daughter's voice. We were both crying right off the bat. We were both so happy to hear each other's voices. She is LCPO and RCPO. I guess that's something good. They didn't pull her wisdom teeth. They just filled a cavity. She is LLD because she injured her knee and is PT

I was hoping to get a letter today, but didn't. Maybe tomorrow, or next week.

Yeah, I get that he wouldn't be able to go off base during the week- and that's totally fine because I could go on base and we could hang out... just trying to see if me going on base to hang out after his classes is even allowed the first week. And wow he gets to go off base on weekends to start? That's more than I was expecting! (Even without over nights and civilian clothes) Thanks!

SailorsGirl, My friend just graduated BC last Friday, and is staying in Great Lakes for A school, as a hospital corpsman. He is allowed off base on weekends, however he said he has to wait a few weeks for his test scores to be granted liberty over night, and civilian clothing.
