hey everyone, i guess we will all go to bed tonight with prayers shooting up to heaven that we all get that "im a sailor" call....bs is tomorrow and im a nervous wreck!!!!
Skins mom, i feel ya on the phone call, i didnt get one either and my heart has been torn to pieces since......the tears are just falling like they did the first few weeks he left...hard to believe we have made it this far. Time has gone slow but yet it has gone so fast, we are at the end of it. But i think what kills me most is after A school then the two weeks leave and they are off...everyone tells me he is not gone forever, he will be back to visit but i think that just it...he will be just home to visit, not home to stay!!! Wow in there teenage years we cant wait for them to make something out of themselves and now they are and its killing me....maybe its because im a single mom. I dont know but this is crazy!!

My son was Ship12/Div 185; he has been in RCU the last 2 weeks. I finally got a phone call last night only because of Mothers Day. Anyway, he did say there were 3 guys in his division that didn't pass BS but they will be doing it again on Monday. I hope that is helpful for some of you . . .

And Happy Mother's Day

we know that they thinking of us & missing us too

Thanks to all for replying! Congrats to all of the families & their new Sailors! (And yes, he has been one of the guys that has been very sick.) It has been such a source of comfort just hearing that there could be a reasonable explanation as to why I didn't get the call. I was just so disappointed. What should have been a great day for us turned to utter disappointment and a fresh batch of tears for me. It was just so hard reading all of the excited & proud posts from everyone and i sit here not knowing whats going on. Hopefully I will still be at Great Lakes next week! If I hear anything I'll post & let you know!
