I sent the Battle Stations video to family and friends to share so they know what's coming up. And I wanted to share with all of you that my sister works for NAVAIR, and she heads up the Advanced Systems Branch which designed Battle Stations 21!

I was going to ask the same thing. I just haven't heard of anyone else getting two weeks leave before a-school, only 1-2 days of liberty time. But that's very awesome if he does! =)

My brother got to call my mom earlier. Said him and the rest of his group are doing great. He is going to get to come home for 2 weeks after PIR then he is going to California. His group earned 3 flags last week so they were rewarded with junk food, sodas and telephones for an hour.....awesome!

t-wifey - i am driving up from north texas. i too went shopping for my pir dress and i was very stressed out by it. i tried to get opinions on which dress would be best but when it is the opinions of a 4 and 6 year old all i got was "i like that one too"...didn't help out much! where are you going to be staying?

my son is ship 14 div 189 another mom said her son said battlestations on Weds so that would be the 13th and they do battlestations all night so that would make the call on Thurs 14th. I guess it's all just a guessing game right now because I have read on this website that they only do battlestations on Thur/Fri and Sun/Mon. Honor graduates are not listed until two days prior to PIR date for accuracy reasons according to the website. They get a commemorative item and recognition.
