Yes, phones on all the time. I wish we knew for sure what day. I know his sisters would love to speak with him but it is hard when they are in school. 7am for them in Chicago is 9 for us and we are all at work or school. I would love to keep everyone home so we could all talk with him. Lovemysailor, will they find out for sure what day so they can let us know?
All this talk about dresses and new clothes is making me want to go shopping:)

jmikas he did say they were doing it the 12 and 13 and would call on the 13th but who knows. but thats what he said :)

Good information about div 190. I think Battlestations start in the evening and go until morning, that means they would call on Friday the 14th, but I will haven't been without my phone since he left. I hope they do get to call this Friday.

Mikesproudmom-I too, have 5 attending. I heard that only the 4 on the list get to go get seats. The rest have to wait in a room, once the ceremony is about to start they figure out how many more can get in. Not the best scenario....

I just got a call!!! :) not sure if anyone else did but my hubby said maybe the div 190 will get a call on friday not 100 % sure but he said they have a test coming up and depending how they do on it they may get a call friday! he said they were doing there battlestations the 12 and the 13th so keep your phone around on the 13th!! i think he said they were taking pictures today or they did already im pretty sure it was today, i was just distracted and caught up in hearing him. friday they go to the exchange to get a bunch of ribbions thats why they may get a call!! he didnt say he knew anything yet about his flight info yet. he called bc he had to figure out some paperwork stuff with his transcript so everyone may not have gotten a call but thought i would let you in on the info!!!! were gettting closer everyone. he also said they are very busy, they did rifel range the other day too.

I love those dresses! Very cute... and the anchor pendant, traci, that's adorable.

Only 24 days!!! The last half seems to be going quicker than the first half.

lovemysailer- Pregnant women are adorable no matter what they wear!

mikesproudmom- I'm familiar with the term "retail therapy"! I understand about the "extras" attending PIR. I'm kind of glad there are only 4 tickets per Sailor... My husband's parents are divorced, the ticket excuse came in handy when my father-in-law called asking about graduation. Needless to say, he won't be missed.

I'm wearing a sateen tunic length top with a pair of leggings and awesome heels. I also bought a necklace with an anchor pendant. I thought that would be a cute touch. :) Now I just need to put finishing touches on the outfit....hahaha

I was thinking perhaps a dress like this one:

http://www2.victoriassecret.com/commerce/onlineProductDisplay.vs?na...

In navy blue of course! With a white sweater over it to cover all the skin up top. I would like one that is at or below the knee length (to be conservative and respectful). Do the mothers here think that would be appropriate? =)

I second the business casual. I was excited about wearing jeans once I saw that on here (I'm a jeans & t-shirt kind of girl), but I had second thoughts once a friend "sternly suggested" I not wear jeans. Eh, oh well. I really think it's a matter of personal preference. I'm told my preference is to wear some sort of dress (haha!). Thanks for the heads up on the weather. That gives me another excuse to go shopping!

Roni - As I understand it, the first two divisions on any given PIR date are grad and go. My son is in div 189 and will PIR on 5/21. This is the first div on that PIR date. So I'm assuming he's grad and go. This has not been confirmed by my son yet. I also suspect that he will be flying out of O'Hara Sat. morning after PIR, but again, no confirmation yet.
