thanks for the heads up on the no phone call. I knew the RDC's were tough but I just thought maybe... I guess that will make the phone call when I do get it that much sweeter..

Yes they take very good dental care of the recruits and pull out wisdom teeth early on (so they don't encounter any problems). I guess they do it two at a time and give the recruit a two day rest period afterward (this is what my recruit told me today). The other two will be soon to follow... poor guy.

I thought I was having a heart attack as soon as I heard his voice. My heart was in my throat and I couldn't breathe! haha He told me a bit about division 189. He said that their RDC's are very tough on them and weren't allowing them to get a phone call this week. So if you don't hear from your son, don't be too worried. =/

Sailormoesgirl so glad you got a call. I'm sure you are jumping up and down.

I got to talk to my recruit for 15 minutes (he was supposed to get a full hour but he said DIV 190 is a mess up haha). He said he didn't know when he would be able to call again... but this call will keep me happy for weeks! It sounds like he is holding up well. He had 2 of his wisdom teeth pulled... 2 more to go =(

lovemysailor.....I am so happy for you that you got a phone call. I am still waiting for a call and another letter.

beatrizm....My daughter is in ship 04, div 192 so they are together. I got the first real letter last wednesday and was hoping for another one today. I know she wrote it on easter sunday because she was talking about missing the family dinner and watching her little cousins on the egg hunt. I am so praying for a phone call just to hear her voice. Maybe I will get a letter tomorrow.
