Hi everyone!

I'm Vivianne and my daughter, Veronica is on ship 02 division 925. This is so new to me but the messages that everyone has posted have been so helpful! I received my first "real" letter from Veronica in the mail yesterday and even though it's a single page, I keep rereading it over and over again...LOL

i was so excited too, my son said he had already written another letter before the form letter which just amazes me because anything he has ever needed typed or written he has always asked me to do it for him. He is also a big time texting kid. going to put all the letters we have written to him in the mailbox first thing tomorrow, yippee

Hi jbird,

No . . . his A school is in Groton, Connecticut.  That would have been interesting if they were heading to the same A school after BC.

@ nicksmum: I never knew I could be so excited by a form letter!  We are anxiously awaiting our first true letter from our son.  It will probably be the first "letter" he has written in years.  He is much more familiar typing 160 characters or less into his phone.

Hi defiance mom,

I agree with all you said. By any chance is your son going to A school in SC for Nuke program?

Comment by nicksmum on March 18, 2011 at 3:06pm
@ defiance mom, nice to meet you too. I cant stop smiling since i got my letter about an hour ago. my husband says I look like the Joker from Batman but I just cant stop!

Hi jbird . . . thank you for the welcome!  I think it is great to interact with people that have sons in the same Ship and Div.  I really hope our son establishes some friendships that can help make this experience a bit more pleasant.  Not that it won't be great for him, but I would think being able to form some friendships would help in a number of ways.
