Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

my son is in div 108, but haven't heard about the flags..i did talk to him earlier this week, he said everyone has been sick with colds, etc., but are hanging in there..

My daughter is in ship 7 division 112 and she just called me. Right when she got ready to hang up she said that the boys were coming in so they could make calls, so if you have a son in the same division....good luck. I'm so glad she called. All is going well. She is very excited for this next phase. Fire fighting, gas chamber and then Battle stations. She said that battlestations is a 40 hour process without sleep. I'm both nervous and excited for them, but sure they'll all do great. Our division is in first place and if they finish first it will be the first time in 6 years and I guess its a REALLY big deal. We have a very tight group, which makes meet and greet that much more special for us parents. Cant wait to see you all on Thursday and I hope you all get your call today.

did anyone with a recruit in div 112 get a call today. my wife's cell phone started ringing but by the time she got to it no one was on the line the area code was 847 and no message was left

Are you getting a security message on your computer first? Just curious...sometimes if you have spyware it will reject the military sites as untrusted...LOL..doesn't recognize the DOD certificate...hahhaahahaha

....you can access the rtc site through The Great Lakes Naval Station site..look at the left and side and click on the link - maybe that will help!! The grad schedule isn't update yet - i will bet Mon or Tue it will be..

if you have submariners or are interested - the science Channel has a documentary on right now on Submarines and the US Navy...historically til today
