My son is in 07 111. His name is Chris. He hasn't said much about his shipmates so that would surprise him. I will mention Victoria's name.

Chris! Ship 07 Division 111? That's my Vicktoria's division! What's your daughter's name? I'll tell Vicktoria! Anyone else? Let me know everyone's first names and I'll add them in my next letter! She'll get a kick out of it!

Thank you everyone for the support and piece of mind about battlestations! Vicktoria is in Ship 07 Division 111! My boys got their letters from big sis today! We were wondering what was taking so long, they usually come in more frequently, but I see a lot of us were missing letters, maybe it was weather-related! I didn't get mine though, maybe tomorrow! Thanks again guys!

Lisa,
What DIv is your daughter in? I believe BSTs usually start the weekend before PIR (depending on how many divs are graduating) Yes, they usually are given a second chance to go through BST if they fail the first time. But, you won't get the I'm a sailor call - and be 100% positive until they pass Battle Stations (BST) which could be anywhere from Feb 27th through March 4th

skyjan-I'm so sorry to hear what happened. I hope they will let him finish where he left off when he gets well again.

The article someone posted a while back said since it's introduction, only 9 people have ever failed battle sations and they all passed on the second try. I wouldn't be too worried.

I have one fear everyone! What if we make all of the travel arrangements, flight, hotel, car rental, etc., and our daughter doesn't pass battlestations or something? Will they let us know? We live in Florida so it is a long haul and we have two little guys as well! We have found some good deals on flights and packages going into Chicago from Florida, but I've been putting off booking until I got the definite "go ahead" from our daughter, but still haven't gotten it! Her PIR is March 5th as of her last letter, but can that change? I know the later we book, the more it's going to cost and money is a bit tight at the moment! Thanks for letting me vent guys! Any ideas on what to do?
