Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

hey ladies... won't be on again till Sunday... headed off for annual fathers dy weekend camping trip with the family... minus my hubby :(

Hello ,ladies I haven't been on in a while, I got a call from my daughter last saturday,they allowed phone calls because they did well on passing some inspections...she sound very nervous about her run, and her upcoming test..but otherwise we laughed and cried..lol>OH GOD PLEASE LET HER PASS..I spoke to the people at GL and they said my daughters group 225 should be doing battle station on Wed and we should get our sailor call on thursday,I'm thinking "oh great, I'll already be there in GL by the time I get the call"..I pray all goes well for all of us,,,Im going to walmart to get the shirt!!!!!!

Nancy Thank you for posting that LINK. When I went through boot camp in the '80's they didn't have anything like that. Now that I watched that video I know what they are really going to be going through and that all of us loved ones need to be praying for them to pass. It is going to be a rough night for all the recruits on Tuesday, lets all be praying for them. I am so proud of my daughter Stefanie and I can't wait to see her next Friday!!!!!

hey i have that shirt!! they also have one that is white with a heart on it that is made of nautical things and it sayd "every girls loves a sailor".. i have that one as well!!

Got a letter from Joey today.Things are ok. They are all nervous about this upcoming week,they should be!! lol.knee is healing better as the days go by.They enjoy listening to "Red Hot Chili Peppers" on Sundays.(guys!lol)
Miss him more and more every Thursday.
6 days ladies! Thought we never see the number 6 beside our days but we did it!
