Got another letter yesterday,

Kevin is still doing great, says he passed his run! and was making fun of me most of the letter. i had gotten stung by a bee and he told me "hey at least you know you won that fight" that really had me smiling, to know he is still making jokes.
he also said that they are really coming together, more people left and a few new people came in, and overall their Div is doing 100% better than before. He said he's not looking forward to hell week! And hopes that no one else has to transfer, he said that the new guys seemed upset that they had been moved, and it must be hard for them to have built a relationship with their last Div, only to be the "new guy" again, but he would make friends with them so that they won't eel that way for to long. i was so proud that my husband would do that!
he also said he really misses listening to music and playing his PS3, but not as much as he misses the baby and me.
and he said to try and write him twice a day!
i guess the letters are like GOLD!

just wanted to let everyone know that he is still doing good, even though he is still sick! (i wish he would get better already)
have a great day ladies

MommaC59 (SHIP 4 DIV814) You are right it is the same for us!!! Waiting until next wed...is like torture especially when there was a broken promise from Navy of a phone call home during week three for us! :/

annafornavy...that is one of my favorite scriptures also! It is the one our pastor did his sermon on the last Sunday my son was at church. I sent a pocket/wallet card in with one of his letters of that scripture this week. I found a bunch of cute uplifting, business card size, sayings with scripture and puppies and kitties, etc on them and sent a couple of those in with his letters also.

Yesterday, Thursday, was "letter day"...however, I did not get one :(
My mom told me she got one on Wednesday from my son, and so did my daughter. Hopefully, mine is just a day late!!

My son did tell his sister to "please keep the letters coming because it's like Christmas when we get letters, it is the best part of our day!" So...I went back to sending a letter EVERY DAY again. (I was sending 2 every other day for a while.)
I guess they don't realize that it's the same for US! Only we wait anxiously for that "letter day" to come, once a week (some of you are fortunate and receive 2 letters a week)! It's heartbreaking when you open the mailbox and it's empty :(

lhpa(jazz mom+dad)ship9div225...don't worry, I know it's easier said than done. She will get through her run, someone will run with her and motivate her to get through and pass! Someone's mom from her new division will tell their son/daughter to find her and help her. No one wants to see a shipmate get left behind! The will pull her through. Just keep praying and stay strong for her. You are both in my prayers. My son's PIR is 6/25, maybe you can go to the Meet-n-Greet at the Ramada Thurs, 6/24 evening and we can all breathe a big sigh of relief then!

Today will be a better day!! For all of us!!
