Jill, when I spoke to my son on sat. he also was sick. He said he has been sick since he got there. He was in excellent health when he left. Must be those shots. I have given my son a new name lol. Please have your recruits to try to find Costello 10 he should know that name. He will think it is something that I have found his friends mom's. Hope ever one is having a great day and I am keeping all our recruits in my prayers.

i think what happened was they either got sick, hurt or didn't pass a test. so they don't necessarily drop out they just get held back. unless they were actually removed all together and sent home. but our guys wouldn't know specifically. they just know they are out of their DIV.

but wow that is alot of guys to be out...
my husband said he was sick when he called two weeks ago for bank info i coud hear it in his voice. he said the same thing as your son jill. that he didn't go to the doc cuz it would have moved his PIR.

JILL: I am so happy he sounded better than the letter. I am sure the shock wave of the first 3 weeks is immense for our loved ones. Things that they took for granted they now appreciate. I am so thankful he is doing well. Dustin said he is just getting over from being sick in his letter last week... ; ( I am sure how those shots at one time reeks havoc on their bodies. I know the flu shot can and I wonder if they get the H1N1 as well... To me that would have been a double whammy for them... Yes 31 glorious days until we get to see them..

So no calls for DIV 223 - 226 : ( Maybe we will get letters again on Wed or Thur to hold us over if we dont get a call before.. I know they are busy and I am so thankful for that so they dont have as much time to miss us as we miss them.. That does bring me some comfort.. Can you imagine what it is going to feel like when we do get that call.. I lost my cell phone Wed night and I did not get my replacement phone until Friday evening. I was a frantic mess.. As I dont have a home phone. Now we have HOPE that this week just maybe we will hear the angelic voices of our dearest ones... : )

My husband is in ship 9 div 224. I got my letters from him this past Wed and have not yet received a call. It is difficult for me to not talk to him and not know when I'll get to talk to him. It's just about the halfway point, though!
