SumiKO: That has got to be tough on them.. But they have to come together as a team so when one falls they all fall.. When one rises they all dont rise... DARN IT!! I have been praying for the whole DIV all along but now I am going to start fasting too. I want to hear Dustin's voice. LOL... I hope your son can hear his dads voice soon.. : ) I would also be delighted to take photos for you... : ) And he is more than welcome to join us when we hopefully have time to take Dustin off base for lunch. : ) We will see what happens as we get closer. IF they are grad and go that day or the next day.. : )

anna- my hubby said the same thing about phone calls... i was disappointed but he said the "hope fully these guys get their butts in gear, he can't wait to talk to our son. and he knew a few of the other guys were getting pretty homesick as well

YEAH CAKERS MOM: My Dustin has alot of pain tolerance but he said that was the worst thing he has ever been through.. BIG OUCH!!! Poor guys.. He said him and 35 other guys from his DIV had it done the same day.. I wrote Dustin and told him the last week of bootcamp before graduation is smooth sailing. The next 4 weeks are going to be get better as they will start building them up but they will still keep them in check if they are not doing what is expected. And that in your face treatment is really meant for their good. May is almost over and the finish line is drawing closer...

Finally rec'd my Dear Mom letter from Caleb. All is well, says he was bored only because he was laid up for 2dys with wisdom teeth being pulled, or as he said "sawed" out. LOL. He likes his commander, understands he has to be mean, but all in all good. Ready for BC to be over.

My son recieved some of his letters but not all of them. He was asking me in his letter why certain people had not written him and I knew they already had. So he only recieved a few. He said a few of the guys in the DIV are holding them back not paying attention to detail so as far as DIV 223 goes until they all start geling the phone calls are not in the near future. : ( That was disappointing.

Hello friends, got my letter yesterday. It was short but I feel so much better now. My son seems to be doing good. I cant wait for the phone call. He said in his letter at the end to write back asap. I had been writing since the 11th but found out they held all the letters till mon. He is swomped with them now :)

I finally got my daughters graduation video today. It took a little more than a month. I am excited to watch it.
My nieces birthday is Monday and I finally sent her birthday card out today. I am so mad at myself for not sending it earlier. I hope that she gets it by her birthday.

FINALLY got my first letter today! YAY!!! It was eight pages long dated the 15th. He says he hasn't received any mail from anyone yet which I don't understand because I've mailed one, sometimes two, since the day he left. Several others have written also. But maybe he's gotten them by now. I HAVE HAD THE BIGGEST GRIN ON MY FACE ALL DAY!! Went to the drug store and grocery store and had to stop and tell everyone ! lol He says he's got an executive staff recruit position...how PROUD I am! Says he's "...still debating on whether or not he can get used to being there, that the routines are easy, but the feelings are tough and having no contact with his family is horrible!" He made sure he mentioned that there's less than 40 days til graduation. Said that he the little things he took for granted mean the world to him now..Awww.. Also said he saw a class graduate the day before he wrote the letter and saw some of the moms run to their sons, hugging, and could tell that they were so happy to see each other. Says he would "...give anything for that right now." Sorry if all this sounds gloomy but he says he's learned to be a man and is happy about his future in the Navy!
