Well that is good news to hear they did write letters. I will let the family know we should hear something this week. I am so looking forward to graduation.
Just counting down the days. My husband says I'm silly but it helps me know it's right around the corner. Cory is my baby and this is so very hard for me.

Kylesproudmom- I have heard nothing from my son. We should be getting letters this week. One of the recruits that is graduating 6/25 called his mom yesterday with dental issues and she asked him if if wrote a letter and he said yes on Sunday... SO THAT GIVE ME HOPE... We have to get A school info from our kids. I talked to my sons recruiter last night and he said they have a pre A School set up before they go to boot camp but so many things change once they arrive at boot camp and they put them somewhere else instead of what they enlisted for. Because they see strengths in them and would be better placed in another job.. I hope this helps...

Jodi: I know your pain my dearest.. I had an awful weekend.. My youngest son said mom you need to stop tearing yourself up over this.. : ) I said I just miss him Parker... He wrapped his arms around me and just let me cry... Because I know he misses him so much as well...

Well it is week three that Cory has been gone and I can't believe how much I miss him and STILL wonder everyday what he is doing. I find myself keeping busy or I cry. I just hope this week I get a letter from him. I can't wait to come home from work and check the mail..... Still nothing. Sunday my oldest son told me how much he missed his brother and wondered how he was doing. So please let us get a letter this week.

mamabear: I feel the same way... I sometimes wonder if I love my boys to much too.. I know I raised them right... I was their friend but when I had to pull out the MAMA stick they knew they better get in check. I always told them if they wanted to start traveling the wrong path that was not a good idea. I would send them to military school and I would see them twice a year Thanksgiving and Christmas.. They both admitted to me now that they knew I would back up my big mouth.. So it kept them on the up and up.. Plus they both played 3 sports in high school so that helped too. : ) The stories and adventures our children will have by being a Sailor will be amazing and I am so excited for that...

Cheryl: YES 5 weeks and we are all going to be in GL doing the happy dance together at the Ramada the night before and after graduation. That is so HILARIOUS on the hose... : ) Thank goodness she is a friend and loves you through your moments. Poor Dustin has a couple of letters or should I say novels that I have written him he will have to put them aside and read them when he is going number 2 if they allow them any time to do that.. ; ) It is a relief when you know others are writing and loving him and supporting him right along with you... That makes our hearts smile...
