To SumiK0125-- hope you're catching some Z's by now. I wouldn't run before bedtime -- make it earlier in the day if you can -- exercising early "pays dividends" all day long by increasing metabolism. Yoga and/or meditation is good. . Also, try eating cheese and turkey (has triptophens to relax you). Sometimes I'll take a Tylenol PM, if I'm really keyed up. Also, I can't drink anything with caffiene (or other stimulants) after 3pm. When my husband is gone, I sleep on "his" side of the bed -- so I don't see "his" empty space.
If you pray, pray yourself to sleep --- this always works for me. Sweet dreams....

Yeah, I'm still here! Go do something, come back and check site, look for more info, watch more utube videos on BC and Navy, look at all the Navy ship sites, (there is A LOT of web info on the Navy)! I never really considered how much this "Navy Mom" was going to be impacted by Jerr's decision! I probs going to know "just enuf to be dangerous"! But it's really a Godsend to be able to have all the infomation available -- I spoke with Jerr's recruiter yesterday and thanked him profusely for giving me the info on N4M. He said "yeah, you moms have something with your sons we guy's don't have". Starts at "conception" I think! So glad to be a mom, so proud to be a Navy Mom!

Hi Everyone ~ My son is graduating 6/25.Got the box and the letter today. What the heck do they make them do in those clothes???? I've never seen such a dirty pair of jeans (and my son is a landscaper when he's home!). Question: Does anyone know if there is another way of getting from the airport to the hotels other than renting a car? I was planning on just using the shuttle service until I saw that it was 30 miles from the airport to the hotel...

I understand...you can watch something like an old movie or the History channel and have some chamomille tea. You need to find a hobby! It will help take your mind off of things. Although, Im not really one to talk the past few days..hehe Ill let you know if I think of anything else...;)

do you ladies have any advice for me to sleep better...i"m used to my husband being next to me evrey night and it's been horrible sleeping these past two weeks since hes been gone...
i've tried going for a run and hour before bed time, cleaning, turning off everything and relaxing, and taking a sleeping pill.
i'm a little sleep deprived..so i'm about ready to try anything....

Good day for most I see! Happy to hear it.. I am hoping to be over my hump by tommorow..;) I think it was a hard day for me going through his photos and missing the moments we have had. I am definatly going to get a Navy Scrapbook! So many of you had going away parties and I just could not whip it together I was too emotional! haha We did a little something but no special decorations or cake. I feel kinda bad so I am going to plan something for when he comes home. I will be getting my hotel on Priceline 90% of the time I am very satisfied with the results from there. ;)
