Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Hello All! My name is mmiles (aka Michelle) I am now the new ADMIN for the group since LisaB received her letter and her Recruit will be graduating a week earlier! If you have any questions please let me know. Also please remember do not type in the last name of your recruiit any where on thie website....big NO-NO for the Navy!
Remember we are all in the same boat, have many of the same concerns, have many of the same questions, expiriencing the same emotions! Basically we all need the same support! So please use this group to get any support you need! I hope you will all be able to attend PIR so we can then finally meet in person as well!! THANKS!!!

Who has received a "I'm a Sailor" call: Please include division and time of call if possible and if you know if the whole division passed.

My Daughter called me at 3:34 pm central time on Wed. May 25th. She is in division 187 and stated all passed in her division. We talked for 20 mins.

Does anyone know why this website makes little beeping noises igf I leave it open on my desk top? I thought maybe people logging in or messages being posted under My groups out but I tested it and that doesn’t seem to be it. Any ideas?
One of the other groups had a great post as a reminder to be sure to remember not to send your RC candy, food or musical cards with Easter coming up. I know none of us want them to get in trouble. So please be careful with what you send. You can also ask your recruits if there is anyone in their division that doesnt get mail and if you forward their name to the Adopt a Sailor group so they can get mail.
If you have a few extra stamps be sure to check out that group and see if you can help out a RC that doesnt get mail. To join the the group Search for Molly’s Adopt a Sailor

Kayla92: I was also glad. It will be much better...but I'll still cry cause I'm so proud. Do you know Allie said I was sobbing when we hugged and she left....that girl of mine has no emotions...what to do. Just made me laugh.

I booked the Ramada Inn, they said you can cancel/change with no charge up to the day before if needed. They are offering 79.00 a night and free shuttle service to the base for PIR.
