If you have a Facebook account and you don't know about the Navy page, you have to check it out. Usually every Monday they will post a few pictures from the previous Friday's graduation. This is the first one I've seen with the white uniforms that they switched over to on May 1. I wrote Jamie a letter today and asked him how was I going to find him in all this white! Why does the military insist everyone look alike! I also wrote him that when he played football that at least we had the number on the back of his uniform to find him!! I can see him rolling his eye's already!!

Thanks for the info on Battlestations on YouTube. I'm going to check it out. It always makes me feel closer to my boy if I have an idea of what is going on. I get letters, but no phone calls :( But, it's nice to get the letters! His best friend just started boot camp a few weeks ago, so I've got two boys to write to now! They weren't able to join together because of the jobs they wanted. But, misery loves company! It's a great way for them to compete with each other!

I've seen this video with my son before he left. Yes, the tears running down the recruits face will make you tear up also.

Paula, also, thank you for the hint about the CNN youtube clip. I've watched some of it with the sound off 'cuz my hubby is watching some scifi flic that is a cross between 2001 A Space Odyssey and Agatha Christy. Now it's over so I'm going to watch it with sound now. I'll be picturing David on board!

Paula Josh's Mom. I was thinking the same thing about how we, too, have changed our outlook and our strength. I don't think I could have said that about myself without the support and sharing of letters from all of you as well as the insights from sailors that some of you know. Because of our site I know I'll feel
a little less alone as David moves along on his career. Even though our recruits will move on to different A Schools (as sailors!) I'm sure we'll find other groups to draw support from. It will also help to have better contact with our loved one! My family, friends and co-workers have been impressed by the information we have shared and the confidence we have instilled in each other.

Good evening ladies. I am glad to see that everyone is doing well today. I am extremely tired so I am hitting the hay early tonight. Pray the boys are all doing good on all of the test and inspections they are going through this week. I just want all of you to know that I appreciate each and everyone of you for giving me a place to feel close to my son. I know that the kids in his division are talking about this web site and they know which ones are talking to each other.

Hi all, i don't know if this will help or not but my hubby's recruiter is going to do a home visit on Thursday answer any questions. I thought that maybe if you all had any question I could ask to see if he has an answer. Just lemme know!

I really hope time keeps truckin along. Some days are better then others. Just really want to see my hubby for a nice hug! I hope they all do well this week! They are in my prayers.
