Jamie'sMom, I'll be checking on Wednesday for the honor recruits because I want to congratulate them all for their hard work! At this point, I'm just hoping she comes through with nothing broken, bruised, or damaged! Thank you, therightthing, for your kind words. Even though I haven't been able to participate as much as I would have liked to on this site, everyone's words have been very comforting, and I've enjoyed sharing this journey with all of you!

Even though I was in & out of the site all weekend, there is still so much to catch up on this a.m.! And this group has grown so much. It seems like we get new folks everyday. Welcome, all of you.
its amazing to think that people are hitting the road already today!! That makes it so exciting & so very real. I am anxiously awaiting the posts for last night's BattleStations.

Good morning, Everyone! Well, I'm waiting for my "I'm a Sailor" phone call from my daughter. Their BS-21 was last night -- at least that's what they told them last week and she passed on to me in her last letter. I'm on pins and needles waiting for the call, even though I don't think it will be until at least noon here in California before the call comes. I'm carrying my phone everywhere with me -- and I mean EVERYWHERE! My luck I'll be in the ladies room at the office or in a meeting when it comes in, but everyone's been warned. You all have a fabulous day. Oh, and if you're in Division 929, Ship 6, let me know when your calls start coming in! Alison

Two days to go! Yes, Jamie, my son is done with Battle Stations and training. So, I believe the kids who got there early are now able to relax a bit. Soon we will be hugging our kids!
