Hello All:

I've been trying to find other family members who have a loved one in this ship and division.  Anyone out there?

Ship 12 Div 219 here.
I was wondering if anyone would post something from my daughters ship and division. I was beginning to think no one was on here from her ship and division. Do you know how the division is doing? I got a letter from my daughter today saying last phone call day she couldn't call because they got into trouble and had to exercise all day. She is real nervous about passing all. To be expected though/ Do you know if not fully understanding the damage control information could cause them to fail?  She said that was over her head . She is on ship 12  div 223

cher,

I only got a letter this week but I know there is one guy in the division that a lot of people have been having problems with.  My husband almost got into a fight with that kid.  Otherwise I don't know much of how they are doing.  I thought they were doing well since they have gone through fire fighting and have earned five flags.  They are doing certified in artillery now as well.  I hope they are doing ok.  From the sounds of it your daughter thinks they are going to not pass.  I don't think that is the case.  I think five flags proves that they are a solid division with some great team players.  I haven't received a phone call in over two weeks so I can only go by what is in the letters and usually my husband has a positive stance, even when things aren't so positive.  I'm happy I've found another 12/223.  One week to go.  They and we can do this!

I just got a call from my daughter a while ago. She has passed everything.   She is looking forward to BS  says she is sure the division will pass. They are doing well.  Just wanted to let everyone know the Div. is doing well. Graduation here we come!

Im Ship 12/223   last call was 6-17  They are working them hard,my guy worried on the PFA running prt . got 2 quick letters yesterday, one was ok the other he was just down,  Says they were doing PFA and im gathering he meant the final on 6-29 that was Thursday, Also says there Biggest Final test which must be the academic part and Uniforms inspection, Says they have had no time as the schedule is Packed!     I keep reading the family guide part on the navy mil site what it says about phone calls.  if they fail a training requirement or become ill or injured you will get a call, Unless you receive a call no news is good news.  Lord i hope this is true as we are leaving to drive there on Monday!  From what everyone says there Div goes to BS on Tuesday so we will be on the road, We are coming from Central Florida East Coast!

Needless to say were on pins and needles like all that have not heard from there recruit.

WOW! navyrocks!  I'm going crazy right now.  Me and one of my friends whose boyfriend is in this division have been counting down the days until our SR's call with the news of them being sailors.  I knew it was going to be difficult for them the last two weeks, but I hope they are strong enough to last.  "no news is good news"  I'm hoping I won't get a call now until next week after BS.  Do you know if they are able to write at all this week?

He said in his letter dated the 26th that they will not receive mail a few days prior to grad because of how the mail system works and he was there MPO not sure if he still is now though, says they will not be able to get letters out or in and he will have no way of warning us ahead of time,UGH!  So unless i hear from him before Monday were on our way ,we have a rental car so of course there are $$s on all this stuff we all have to book

Im worried because he still has a couph which they put him on 5 different meds over 3 weeks ago,so this is a lingering thing because they are all just beat!  Oh he says they got a Polio shot via air gun just recently as well.   What ever you do i would keep your phones covered at this point.  My hubby and i are playing Tag team today, hes out doing his dr appts and errands then when he gets back i take off,lol

In my daughter's last letter the next day they were going in the gas chamber. She talked about finals in academics and inspection of uniforms. She was going to do her final physical which I believe was today. She was trying to remain positive, but was nervous.I just hope I don't get that dreaded call. No call at this point is good news.I wasgladto hear the earned flags. She has always been one to brag on accomplishments.

i just looked at his letter he dated sunday the 26 , he says Monday was gas chamber day and they had to run before that YUCK

Tuesday 28 Uniforms Inspections

Wed 29 Test#3   says most difficult test  says after the PFA they have Drill Inspection where they have to march perfectly while exhausted

Guess Tomorrow Saturday is Captains Cup which is suppose to be fun day, maybe we will get a call to!

Since today is July 1st , no phone call yet, looks good!  Tues BS I believe they will do well.  Does anyone know how they get to spend the Fourth?

I know for Memorial Day weekend my husband was able to call home.  Not sure how things go for the fourth.  I got my second letter this week.  My husband also stated that they did the gas chamber....apparently not an enjoyable experience for him...he did mention the PFA as well.  He said its like a marathon of stuff they are going through this week.....so if any of you haven't heard from your SR don't worry....they are working hard.

I got a call from my husband today.  Battlestations is on Tuesday....he was a great spirits and it sounds like all others in div 223 are as well.  They are all excited for it to be over.  Hoooyaahhhh!
