Rickswife, I hear on the in-laws, but in my case it is my mom. She is constantly asking if I have heard from my wife! Every single day!!
Yesterday was a great day for me, not, I got fired for not wanting to drive in the bad weather!! Yeah for me, now I can move as soon as I find out where my wife is going hopefully!

No school here in Ohio but the snow has finally stopped. We are driving to PIR so we can leave whenever we feel we need to. I don't care if we have to drive 10 mph, we are going!

Such great reading on here! I tend to read more than I post, and it's been a real help these past few weeks! Thank you guys so much. I almost feel addicted to this site - every day I have to read and see who's heard what and how things are going. So many of you have touched me with your stories and outreaching to the others on this site. No wonder our sons/daughters/husbands & wives are turning into such heroes - look at all of you!!!! I can't wiat to see our sailors!!!!

Navyblueeyes - what a lovely post! Very thoughtful and meaningful. Just wanted you to know that upon your recommendation I looked up Blue Star Mothers - that was powerful stuff. Long story short - I joined our local chapter, just waiting to hear back form them.
Everyone - Hope we all receive great news this weekend in the form of letters/calls. We are almost there - a little over two weeks we will be watching our loved ones be celebrated. I start to tear up just thinking about it. Have a great evening!

They are trying to get through every day with out messing up! They shouldn't be bothered with whether or not we've gotten our DEERS packets!
