dildraa~ God hasn't given up on your son and most importantly he hasn't given up on himself so don't you go giving up on him yet. We're all praying for him and for you... and OH the power of prayer! Keep the faith mom.

I told my son the same thing and he sent word that one of the sr will be spending the weekend with us. We will also continue contact with this recruit throughout his navy carreer and send him letters and care packages etc. Usually if someone cant make it to the graduation there are pressing reasons and we dont want any sailor to feel left out. If I can make up where someone just isnt able to do, then God is gifting me with the ability to do so, and I will follow God's lead.

Dildraa, your son has moved mountains so far! He has learned to swim! I am sure he will pass this next part. There is still time for him to pass. We are all lifting him in prayer and when we are all gathered in prayer God WILL answer our prayers. There may a kink in plans, but God has his reasons. It may take time, but rest assured your son will graduate! He is not a quitter, or else he wouldnt have made it this far in boot camp. Stay strong, we are here to support you and your son!

crystaldj1972 - a collar device is an ensignia/pin that he gets to wear to show his position. My son told his gf several weeks ago that he got a collar device and she thought maybe it was like a special dog collar...maybe a zapping one or something!! We had a good laugh when we figured out what it really was!! Very awsome!

dildraa - my heart goes out to you ... but don't torture yourself and put out all of that negative energy. There's nothing you can do about the past, but you got the present and the future to be positive and pray about...so along with all of us - we'll shoot that positive flow his way!!! Chin up...

Dildraa - hang in there, he will do it! Have faith!!! And pls do not blame yourself!! we cannot even begin to think we can prepare our children for everything single thing that they will be faced with in life....we just lay the foundation.....Lighting my candle and saying a prayer - he will do it!! (hugs to you)
