I think it's safe to say we're all ready to leave for GL NOW! I feel better today after my letters. Just another stepping stone on this walkway to "Sailorhood"~ Thank you Lord for finally letting it get here.

ok, fixed my username...

Yes, it seems the letters are slow in arriving. His gf got a nice long letter last week and ours showed up today. They sounded like they were written about the same time. Go figure!

Debbie - our previous dog had bad hips and she took medicine...she thought they were treats and you would never know she had a problem. You are right, that part is easy to deal with. Good luck with the rest.

Colleen - no I suspect my son is not part of your son's group. A letter to his gf indicated that he was a section leader though.

Yes Debbie, she has my daughter's ladybug slippers on and her sweater... She's not thrilled about it, but she's a good sport - my daughter even paints her toenails in the summer! Sheesh!

Dreams - love your doggie pic!!! Does he/she have slippers on?

GMan - I'm hearing the same thing about a few folks spoiling things for everyone.... I guess that's why I haven't gotten any more calls either...oh well, nothing we can do about that from here....just gotta look ahead and focus on that "reunion" time!!!
Comment by dreams on February 18, 2010 at 7:08pm
No letter for me today either... bummer! Thursday is usually my letter day, but with the holiday on Monday I'm hoping it'll be tomorrow... Eternal optimist here (most of the time). I guess I'm having the same sleep issues everyone else is.... I'm so excited and want to remember to take everything I've heard on here to take and things I've thought of the past few weeks. .. I just can't wait to hug that boy! ....well, I mean man! One week from today we'll be "meeting and greeting"... oh that reminds me -- gotta go work on my ribbons! LOL
