For Derecks graduation we all (the family) chipped in together and got him a laptop. We ordered it online from best buy. It was a compaq presario. On sale for 329.00 Now mind you, we have 7 people which makes it a nice gift, but cost is very little when split between all of us.

Navyblueeyes, Happy anninversary! how did it go? Keljacmom, I was unaware the divisions were designing a t shirt- gonna have to check it out.
Angel(blue-eyed-son) at this point I think being able to see you attend his graduation will be the most special gift your son can receive. Remember how special you are to him. He has missed you terribly! Also, you are so lucky to be blessed with your son and your granddaughter under your roof. Although it is a struggle, It is so worth it all to have your grandbaby that close.
Colleen- she is still resting.. but very sore. resurrection in 4 more days!
I just woke up to my 17 yr old and his pitbull cuddled up like lovebirds, asleep on the couch. What a sweet sight. arms and legs across each other with the dogs head on my sons chest. I had to get the camera! Happy V Day everyone!

No news is definitely good news Angel! :) Whenever I know he has a test coming up and I don't get a call that day I assume all is well.. so far, so good. :)

Im all for the late meet and greet. Whoever cant make it between 6 and 8 can meet us in the lounge at the Ramada! Nothing better than a good cold one after all that travelling and stress of PIR finally getting here- could be a good ole celebration for making it there!

I am all for the late meet and greet. I am staying at the Ramada so of course my vote goes for that.
i am sticking with the no news is good news philosophy, but I won't sleep good until I hear something. I sent a questionnaire so hopefully I will get that back next week.
Looked at supplies for the ribbon but didn't buy anything yet, but i think it's a great idea.
Is there a website for the division shirts or do you just have to call?

Hey all- I did my running around- I got the ribbon, but then I also found some good graduation and also Navy scrapbooking stuff to jazz it up. will it matter if it looks like a corsage with the blue ribbon on it?
