Rickswife- I am glad you are ok! I will definitely keep you in my prayers. I know how hard it is being away from your husband... without traumatic experiences happening. Be safe and only 13 more days!!!

Yes I just had the altenator replaced. The man that did the work actually works on our ambulances @ the hospital so when I called he sent the wrecker and told me thats what it was he would take care of it. But I may have actually incurred damage as a sailed through the air over that culvert. I hit pretty hard but the body is ok... it's whats underneath that maynot be...

I have prayed and cried and cried and prayed... I'm thankful to be here and I know that the only reason I am here is because God had a hand in it but I feel the weight of the world tonight. I miss my husband. I know we are supposed to be strong and independant self sufficient but today I just want to curl up in his arms and cry.

I guess today wasn't my day to die but it sure was close...

Last week I had a lot of work done to Rick's truck. I wanted it to be perfect for my trip to GL. I had a new altenator and all kinds of regular maintenance preformed. Well any other day I would drive my little car to work. Not today, it was snowing this morning and it has snowed all day. I drove Ricks truck in to the hospital. I was on my way home and the voltage guage plumits to almost nothing. So I start turning things off. First headlights, then defrost, then windsheild wipers... nothing helped. I live 30 miles away from work and I was half way... I got off 75N and tried to get to a gas station but I didn't make it... as I came up around the curve and over the hill to the station the truck just died. I had no steering no brakes nothing. I went airborn over a culvert and just missed a rock wall. I spun into this womans yard to a stop... I tried to get out of the truck but my knees were just weak. I leaned up against the truck and looked at it all and then just lost it... Needless to say the truck was towed and the deputy sheriff brought me home but I am still really shaken up. This leaves a lot of things up in the air for me right now not to mention just the experience. As you guys pray tonight and tomorrow please put a note in there to God for me because... I really need it.
