OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I think it would be great to have a place to post requests, answers, or just general prayers for Class 281 or any pre-bud family. Everyone is Welcome!

Need some ideas! We have a family friend receiving his Trident very soon. I want to give him a special gift. Any ideas? My son began with 281 but was rolled back. YOu would think that I could come up with an idea on my own, but can't think of a thing. Thanks for any suggestions.

MstrChief - Tell him that time will eventually reveal the reason for this delay in his Buds Training. I can't wait to see how he does when he is built Stronger, Faster, ....just like the six million dollar man. I know, He is too young to get the reference. oh well. We are glad he is encouraged, tell him to keep up the good work! The others in 281 are awaiting his return! In a few years it won't matter what class anyone graduated from, they will be brothers! Does that make us Siblings?????

The soldiers have to make the reservations, civilians can't do it.
