Dear Families of BUDs class 281 - congratulations to all!!! If anyone is going to the "BUDs graduation" this Thursday we would love to get a photo. Our son is one of the officers and he is hoping they get leave afterwards and we wanted to be there for him but he said he would rather come back home to Rochester. Please let us know if you can attend...we would love photos. BRAVO ZULU!!!

So excited for today to be here! My cell phone is ready and waiting, I feel similar to the Fri of HW. ok, not that stressfull. Thanks for the update Lauren! I love reading this site and sharing all of our info and joy and pain. I'll be back in a couple hours! Praise God for this day to finally come, and I am so proud of 281 and to be a BUDS graduate is quite an accomplishment all by itself! YEAH! I hope June brought no injuries/illnesses to 281.

If you watch the youtube videos , at the end of Phase 3, they have a small graduation ceremony before sqt starts that the guys tell us is only attended by the class and instructors. We go to the one at the end of sqt. however.... I think the one coming up that celebrates the ending of BUDS is a big deal also. What an accomplishment for them! I'm sending a card/care package at least.
