I think it would be great to have a place to post requests, answers, or just general prayers for Class 281 or any pre-bud family. Everyone is Welcome!

Gotta love those SEALS!      Great job, once again!   God Bless them all, and praise God for keeping the team safe yesterday!

Have a great holy week everyone!  We all have so much to be thankful for this year!  We are truly blessed.  I will send out some dvd's as soon as my husband can figure out how to copy them!  I won't forget you all!

Delete Comment My son sent me a 12 minute video/slide show that they showed at graduation.  He copied a disk someone gave him and sent it to me!  It is great.   They (class 281) didn't get the disk until the week after graduation, so don't expect it before that.  I guess someone just made a few copies and gave them to a class member to make copies of and distribute to the guys.   It shows a few minutes of phase 1, phase 2 , phase 3 and sqt.   I don't think it is really all class 281, however, because it shows walking out on ice in Kodiak, and 281 never had any ice when they were there.  I did see my son 4 times.  very special.

Oh did understand you, but several posts have been how people had to stand and could not see the ceremony.

I bet that was heart breaking. THey have worked so hard to get to that day! Mine is class 283 but I hate to think I have to fight to get a seat and then not be able to see. I think the immediate family, mom dad, wife, brother/sister should have reserved seats.

Good to know about the dinner.  I have asked mine to check on the numbers now that they are home and let me know.

My son also received an email that said only 9 could attend, period.  Apparently they have had too many attendees and are trying to cut down on the number.  THis is the first time that this has happened.  We went back and forth because I thought as everyone else thought that the invitations could sit and the rest could stand.  My son has said all of the guys are very upset and have let people know.  Maybe they will change the ruling.  We have several more than 9 also.  One is coming from Germany.  I guess I will tell everyone to RSVP and see what happens.  I sure hope all of the family gets in.
