I think it would be great to have a place to post requests, answers, or just general prayers for Class 281 or any pre-bud family. Everyone is Welcome!

Dear Father,
Tomorrow brings another day and another challenge for our guys. I ask for a restful night for class 281 and 282, that all the boys will wake Monday with rested bodies and rested souls. I ask for strength of mind and body for our friends in 282 and calm reassurance for our boys in 281. THe unknown plays so dangerously with our minds and I ask for peace for the guys all week. I lift up Class 281 as they begin new challenges this week. Keep them focused on the task at hand. I am reminded of your promise "I go do all things through Christ who strengthens me." I ask for you to provide the mental, physcial and spiritual strength this week. I praise you for the abilities you have given them and the accomplishments they have achieved. Thank you Heavenly Father. Amen

Ophelia.... i don't think you were offensive at all... I have just heard that if they read that the guys have complained about too many PTs, runs, logs, etc... they crank it up a bit. Don't know if that is true or not, but I'd rather us be safe than sorry..

Not to nag, but remember to be careful what is posted. Instructors read these posts and if they think the guys are complaining......

Just landed from San Diego! I sat on the rocks, and walked the beaches of Coronado. It is a beautiful place from a visitor's eyes. It is a humbling place from a Mom's eyes. I was very impressed with the o-course and how big it really is. I know you all understand when I say it was so healing and comforting to see everything in person. I walked the beaches daily and it was so beatiful We had a wonderful time relaxing with our son. He is still healing and obviously doesn't have all his strength back. We enjoyed eating at BUDS hangouts and visiting Bullshirts. I am sure I saw a lot of your sons walking around and at the necessary places such as the barber shop and dry cleaners. I loved seeing the everyday routine of my son. We had lots of conversations about what he had experienced, how he felt-the good and bad- and his achievements. I tried very hard to convey my feelings and emotions over the past weeks, but realized that it is a mom's thing and they love us, but truly can't understand. It was so important not to burden him with my fears and emotions. My goal was to be a sounding board and find lots of laughter in the weekend. SUCCESS! It was great!
