I think it would be great to have a place to post requests, answers, or just general prayers for Class 281 or any pre-bud family. Everyone is Welcome!

Happy Easter 281 family. I hope all of us with our sailors away remember the good times we've had and look forward to the ones coming, no matter how long the separation, they live in our hearts every day. Isn't that the message of Easter, after all.

Moms... I have been sitting on the rocks in front of the Hotel Del saying a prayer for all of our guys. It was very moving and emotional to stand there and know what our boys have been through... I felt so proud of mine and ours! This was a last minute trip out to see my boy and I can't waitfor my big hug when I see him in a minute. We arrived last last night but didn't get to see him because of some late night work. I walked the beach all morning just thinking and thanking God for watching out for our boys. I am thinking of all of you as I am here knowing we are all here in spirit!

I was on the carolina beach this weekend and as I walked in the thick heavy sand, I stopped to think of our guys and how they must feel and felt running in the sand, particularly during hell week... How proud I was of my son and all of your guys.
I had trouble picking my feet up in the wet sand, and they run fast in it!
Lucky you in Coronado and heading to San Diego. We may luck out and get to go this weekend, but wont' know until the very last minute...
Thanks for all your support!
