I think it would be great to have a place to post requests, answers, or just general prayers for Class 281 or any pre-bud family. Everyone is Welcome!

Hi 281 family, I haven't posted in a while but I still check in to see how you all are doing. Spring is here and weather will be so great in SD! My prayers are still with your sons and you. HooYah is still the word.

I can't reach my son tonight either. I just tried by text, and he didn't answer, so I wonder if they have a night evolution or something? good night

Ditto to both of you.... My son is icing nightly to help the stiffness of his legs. I think the first timed run this week was painful, and glad he got through it. I am still reading my Warrior Elite to help feel a little connected but I have been blessed with phone calls ( or txts) the last 5 nights. I commented on Hellweek and my stress level and how my son was feeling to a friend, and she said there is probably some emotional reactions akin to post tramatic stress because of what all they endured! That made me understand some comments made by my son and what has been going through his mind.
Anyway, glad we are not going through this alone. Glad to have God above and my new friends down here!

I'm here also! I, too, check in everyday, and miss the comments, however, we would never get anything done at all if we kept up the comments to the pace of hell week. We really were chatting it up during the crisis! Thank goodness there are slow times, or I'd never get my taxes done either! Rachel: I laughed because I told my husband I wasn't thinking about doing them until after Hell Week also! Thanks for the info, I didn't know drownproofing was going on, now I have something to text my son about. that kind of info is so helpful to me, thanks to everyone on this site.I asked my son if he felt back to normal after hell week yet, and he said "yes, except my legs and feet" I said " isn't that the important half?" and he said yes!, but it's nothing he can't handle. Love those texts! I'm goint to Circ de Sol' tonight! excited. anybody been?

MIssing conversation ladies! It's been lonely on here. I spoke with my son several times this week. He is rested up and gaining strength! My prayers go up daily for our boys/guys for strength, endurance and mental toughness. It is still hard when someone else DORs... I am so proud of my son and so happy that his voice is beginning to sound like him again. I mean, there is some emotion and lightness in his voice again....

Everyone, remember we are still not supposed to disclose class numbers or what they are doing now....
Always keep it general!

They are learning to make maps of the coastline. (underwater depths, etc..) and Grandpa - It snowed here yesterday, and I specifically prayed for it to head south! Sorry.

Sue... I will definately remember your brother in law in my prayers.
I spoke with my son last night for a long time, however, I do believe that he feel asleep as I was talking (probably not the first time). He was exhausted beyond belief. I hope the weekend provides for lots of sleep and lots of food to build his body back up! Hoping to head out soon, but a long way from the East Coast...
