what a freedom it is not to be chained to the phone anymore! first , 5 days of dreading seeing his number on the caller id, and having sinking feelings whenever it rang, and now, this afternoon, to have it constantly with me, hoping to see his number on the caller id, I can't stop smiling, and I'll bet all the boys are smiling in their sleep!.

Dear Father,
Thank you for the phone calls that have been received. Be with the ones who are waiting by the phone and ease their anxiety. We ask your healing touch, physically, spiritually and mentally for the guys who are injured or decided to take another path. Heal the wounds from this week and strengthen their bodies as they sleep. THank you dear father for the never-ending support you provided our guys. We praise you for the comfort you gave us at home and the support of the friends and families, new and old. We know the next road is long, painful and dangerous but we are confident that you are leading the guys as their protector. Thank you and we praise YOU.. Amen

Lord God, we thank you in advance for the conclusion of this small but dramatic part of the journey these young men have chosen to take. Thank you for the comfort you brought to their families, your presence with each one as they walked through hell and came out on the other side. We ask you to continue to do what you do in the coming weeks, months and years as these men become the warrior elite. Give them rest and healing to be prepared for their next challenge. To those who will not continue at this time, bring swift healing to their bodies and minds, help them prepare to return to the challenge. To those taking another path, give them strength and purpose as they begin again.
Thank you for these people who have come together in support of each other, may each one be blessed in whatever they do.
Amen

Dear Father,
The son is just now coming up over the horizon and I imagine our guys feeling a sense of relief and peace washing over them right now. I don't know what they need today Lord as I can't begin to imagine what they are feeling or how their bodies feel right now. I know that it is your power and strength that supports them right now with every step they take. Whatever it is they need, I know you are there for them. You are providing the strength they need in their legs for that run to eat, the power in their arms to support their bodies for those last pushups. Please keep their minds clear and focused this morning and their bodies warm. Bless them with the comfort of your love and spirit today. Amen
