I think it would be great to have a place to post requests, answers, or just general prayers for Class 281 or any pre-bud family. Everyone is Welcome!

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Good Morning 281 family, I was so tired last night that I missed reading and posting, but didn't miss my committed prayer time. My thoughts are with all of you often throughout the day. Momcjj, hug that boy for all of us!! I agree with all of the uplifted prayers.

This morning I was visiting a niece in a 3rd grade classroom, I was there for the Pledge of Allegiance. The tears started flowing but they were happy and proud tears . I was crying because I was so proud of the Class of 281! I think we ought to petition to add a line in the pledge to reflect all those who fight and sacrifice for our liberty! Did you know that the pledge was altered in the 60's????

Yeah Sunshine today!
Dear Father, Thank you for these wonderful women who are supporting my son and me through prayer and words. THank you for the sunshine on the West Coast. Use it to warm the boys bodies and use your spirit to warm their minds and hearts. Provide strength when their arms feel like they are giving out... provide solid legs when they feel as if they can no longer support them. Keep their minds clear and awake throughout the day. As the sun is rising on the coast, lighten their hearts with the brightness of your love and wonder and the knowledge that they are beginning a new day. Keep them focused on the task at hand and the minute without looking ahead. Thank you for the officers and brownshirts who are watching over them. Keep doubt and fear from their minds. When they are filling their bodies with food, fill their souls with warmth to last the day.
"Psalm 84: 5-7 Blessed are those whose strength is in You…they go from strength to strength"
Thank you for this day and the strength you have given me.
In Jesus name, Amen

281 moms - I am praying for you all that you can feel that God is indeed holding you in the palm of his hand, as he has promised that he would. We all need to lean back and rest in his peace when we get stressed this week wondering what is going on. I am sure he is holding our young men, the single pair of footprints in the sand reference was an excellent reminder, and very (beach/sand) appropriate, I must say!!!! :) thanks for your support. I will take your advice and be very careful about what I post on this site. stay strong 281!
