OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I think it would be great to have a place to post requests, answers, or just general prayers for Class 281 or any pre-bud family. Everyone is Welcome!

It's that time of day that I begin hoping for a phone call. My son was glad for the weekend to rest, heal and fight a horrible cold. I think all he did was eat and sleep.
It's snowing here on the East Coast...

Hey Maria, I try not to say too much on here because mine is not here, I'm a cheerleader. Also, I don't know anything much now. If you want to get your mind off what's going on, join us on THE ROLLER COATER. A ragtag of moms from the Land of Misfit Toys, laughing, crying, being silly and helping each other out. It's featured on the Home Page. We'd love to have anyone join if it sounds like soemthing you would enjoy.

Kim = The journey never ends!!!!! It just is taking a different direction, and my heart aches for your family now, but know your hearts will again be rejoicing soon. keep the faith! let us know what he decides, and which new group you 'll be joining! a different path does not mean a lesser path.

I'm sorry if my attempt at passing on info that I received from Admin snowballed. Folks "reply to all" instead of just one person and on and on, it happens at work all the time. PLUS, I made it worse by sending the info to MY friends, and the original list too and there were overlaps....anyway, sorry about that:(

Thank you for the information. I feel the same way.

Congrats to everyone on surviving another week! I am so glad to hear Mastercheif's son can stay in Coronado amongst friends. Keep us updated, I've been through ACL surgery with my son, and he came out good as new. Crazy about the Tsunami waves, glad it is on a weekend, and they're not in surf passage!
