I think it would be great to have a place to post requests, answers, or just general prayers for Class 281 or any pre-bud family. Everyone is Welcome!

Here's the web address, and the pics are down a bit. If they don't show up your computer may be set to not display the format? Sorry if I'm overdoing the help!

Mamamaria, you must have been with me and Rachel, 8/21. (You have to find the Seal Mom's group, I'll try to post the link.)

Thanks MstrChief, the different coverage is interesting. Sounds like Ohio had a great turnout.

I echo what Mstr Chief said. WE know that these men were doing their job the way they were trained to do it, others do not know it or care, is my opinion. Even others in the military cannnot understand. It's also personal for us, this could be OUR son some day. (just my 2 cents)

I heard that there are 2 indocs. One is for the base and the other is for their program, that may explain the difference. My son will be doing "his thing' at about the same time as 281.

fyi : This is the responce I got from the reporter: "We will monitor the SEALS court martial. The Navy says the men are not being tried for the injury, but rather for lying about it to their superiors. This is from the Navy Times:

Maj. Gen. Charles Cleveland, commander of Special Operations Command,Cleveland said that media accounts of Abed’s injuries occurring during the capture are inaccurate.
“A medical examination conducted at the time the detainee was turned over to U.S. forces determined that his alleged injuries were inflicted several hours after the operation had ended, and while in the custody and care of the U.S. at Camp Schweidler’s detainee holding facility,” Cleveland wrote.
But he made it clear it’s not the assault he’s really worried about, stating that “while the assault and resulting injury to the detainee were relatively minor, the more disconcerting allegations are those related to the sailors’ attempts to cover up the incident, particularly in what appears to be an effort to influence the testimony of a witness,” he said.
The court will have to determine who's correct, and we will rely on coverage from The Associated Press in following it. Thank you for passing along, it's an interesting story that bears watching.
