Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

My sailor got me a gift. thats what he told me and he gave me a hint "Phoenix" I'm thinking its the division flag T-shirt, but not positive, guess i'm going to have to wait and see. i got 2 letters today. it made my day and also the words of insinuation, encouragement and laugher on this site has been keeping me going thanks to all that brighten my day!

Haha..We all need to be as positive as possible..that's the only way we'll make it!!
I foundout I don't get to go to PIR..I wish I could..but I do get to see him right after..so i'm still insanely excited!!!!!!!!! COULDN'T BE HAPPIER!! at least I get to see him!

haha, yeah, i miss mine more everytime i get on this freaking site, but i love it!!
and yeah..it's the best though!!(: I just foundout C is actually trying to go to the SEAL program once he gets to A SCHOOL.....this is gonna be a long roller coaster ride....but it will be one of the best(:

I agree with all of you, I daydream about it..dream about it...you name it..it's gonna be amazing..hell..i cry when i read his letters when he says he can't wait to hug me..it's gonna be the best.<3

i daydream about it literally all day long. if im not doing something, im imagining what it will be like at PIR and how i will try to control making the ugly face when im crying so hard. theres no controlling anything that day. i will be such a basket case. but a very very happy basket case.
