When they first adjust to a school its hard, theres new fredom etc but also a lot of homework. My husband ended up making time for me the same time everynight, we would also text after school. He was a stickler for rules and never took his phone to class, even though a lot of the other sailors did and would be on facebook all day. I was very greatfull for the time that he set aside for me, made me feel good especially on the days he went out to the bar or out with other sailors.

well i guess will start to try and get use to the fact that they cant talk all the time! i know that is going to be the hardest part, but do you at least get to talk to him once every day? also the dog tags sound super cute (of course i now have to get them lol) :)

That dog tag sounds really cute! Yeah a 2xl would be like a hoodie dress on me!

Awesome, I really DON'T want hot weather, cool is nice:) he has to get me a navy gf hoodie anyways. all they had were shirts at the nex...and 2xl hoodies..which drowns me. i found a dog tag there that is pewter and says "I belong to a sailor" with an anchor and eagle on the back. It's mega cute, and i'll be wearing it allll the time, until he gets a new set of tags made. since they misprinted his in the first place!

At least you're planning a visit soon and you have that to look forward to! Charleston's weather will be a bit cool but still beautiful, just about perfect that time of year & there's a lot to do!

It was tough, I just got to talk to him on the phone, he added alllll of our photos to his 'cabinet' down in charleston, it made me smile. super cute. i miss him a lot and the only rough part is that he has his phone, but not yet have i realized he stil cannot talk consistantly as we used to. i should be able to see him the first week of sept. but we may push it to the 2nd week of october so he has overnight.

I'm happy you were able to spend time with him at the airport! And now that he's out of boot camp he'll be able to call, you made it through the hard part!
