Hi ladies! I hope everyone going to PIR soon is excited! It's one of the most amazing experiences ever! Make sure you have tissues, and if you are sitting far away bring Binoculars. It sounds silly but it will help you find and be able to see your sailor in a sea full of men and women that look the same. Enjoy and take as many pictures as possible! oh and the Navy Peir is a great place to go after graduation depending on what you have for time, My sailor was Grad n go but we were still able to go anyway and there is so much to see and do. Show your sailors you love them! Have fun everyone! (:

Not sure yet... I don't really want to be involved with the business side of it, I prefer the planning and creative side. So one day, if I find the right partner, possibly but I've only been out of college for about a year and a half so not anytime soon!

I can imagine! (: Are you planning on starting your own business?

It is, I absolutely love! One of the reasons I'm so excited to go to SD!

Well my degree is in event planning.... so it won't be so easy for me to change!

I like planning things as well, granted i'm also a go with the flow type of person. If it's a big event, i want it planned. but that'll have to change i suppose!

2 years is nothing. And exactly... that's how the Navy is so you might as well get used to that way of thinking now! That was a hard adjustment for me, I'm such a planner!

Yeah, my bf had his 19th birthday in boot, and i turn 17 in december. a few years difference, but not many. it works out to be 2 and some months. if we got to the point of being engaged, we wouldnt get married for awhile.

I wanted Aviation Rescue Swimmer(Search and Rescue) so I have a challenge both physically and mentally. But if my bf and I stick it out and stay together, i may take a more general job, in aviation or as a linguist or something.

It's aaaallll sorts of up in the air right now. But that's okay, gotta roll with the punches anyways!
