Thanks Kac! I've known it was coming for the last 10 months but still doesn't actually make it any easier! I'm so proud of him and excited for him, just sad about being apart as I'm sure you all know too well! But only about 65 days until I can see him again woo! lol

Abuon congrats on your boyfriend making an awesome decision for his life and yours! First two weeks are hard without the communication but it gets better! Always here if you have questions.

I did. He was raised a gentleman, and his family and I get along great, and my family loves him, even my dad..who hates everyone, and everything! Lol.

I agree with your statement not sure how i got lucky enough but sure won't be stupid enough to lettem' go! Definitely true!

Sounds like you found yourself a good one :) He is not my longest relationship but he will be. He is absolutrely an incredible person and I really don't know how I got lucky enough to be with him but I'm not gonna be stupid enough to let him go!

Hahaha!(:

I am his longest relationship, and he is mine. Funny thing is, he told me "I'd never buy jewlery for a girl prior to 6 months". Then I said, promise rings are jewlery, he said, but those don't exceed 300$. that's when my jaw dropped. He thinks that's about what should be spent. I was like. Holy Crap!!!! Promise rings can be found for like...90$!

Comment by abuon18 on July 11, 2011 at 2:39pm
Haha, that is cute! I have no rings (yet) but he knows what I like.

That's soooo awesome!:) Congrats to you both!! My hunny is talking promise rings- not engagement, but promise rings. He thinks that it will remind me of his love for me, it told him a ring pop would do me just fine, hhahaha. (favorite childhood candy)

Thanks Nicole I'll definitely be taking a look at the discussion! I am planning on being there by 6 at the latest anyway, just in case! I'm hoping I'll be traveling with his aunt, who lives in the same city as me, because his mom got transferred a few months ago so the rest of his family moved to MO and will be driving from there. My boyfriend and I have been together for 10 months, actually if his PIR date is what we are thinking it will also be our year anniversary! But we were friends in high school, and reconnected when I moved back home.
