It really wasn't tough parking at all. We were VERY close, and there were WAYYYY more divisions in my ex's than there are in my bf's grad. I'd say definitely be at the gate by 6:20, the actual cerimony doesn't start for awhile after that, a few hours, it's neat to walk around and look at all the flags and stuff though.
The first time- there wasn't toooo much of a connection there, it was "we wanna date, so we'll try it" 10 days before he shipped we got together.
I've been with my current boyfriend for almost 5 months now, it will be almost 6 once he's out of basic, and i love, and am in love with him. the first one, i hardly cried maybe 3 times, this one i cried for days. Lol.
I can answer those!:P
I dated someone navy prior to my current boyfriend. i attended the other guys pir, and we mutually decided we're better as friends and broke it off.
As far as getting there, the gates open at 6:30, so leave your hotel(if you're driving onto base, which i suggest..it wasn't terribly busy for us, infact we got there at 6 30 and were seated within 10 minutes.) but, leave about 6:15 ish? and when you go in they check your ID's, then your SR's division number will be on a stand and there will be bleachers above and below to sit in to be right infront of your division, we sat in the top, and i personally think it was easier to pick the SR'S out. rather than being face on and sitting lower to the ground. i think im going to make a discussion above with info about PIR/places to stay etc
duh i totally forgot about other divisions, yes il will be loud lol!
I know there's others in different divisions from IL, because i'm assuming the kids he went up with will be graduating the same date, different divisions. But most likely, IL won't have the biggest crowd! Lol.
