Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

haha nicole so i guess that part during PIR when they say all thestates, his state is gonna have that low cheer. I thought it was so funny when places like cali and florida where so loud then they say, nebraska and like one person cheers lol

It's fabulouss!(: It really will pass by before you know it. I think my bf is doing alright - kinda upset he's not getting along with alot of the guys there, because i think that would help him. he has some friends, but he followed an order from their RCPO and it ended up being a bad order the RDC's thought or something, and they got Dropped on the "Black Cord"(worst) and he's the only one whos gotten them dropped, so alooot of people dislike him, and i think that's making it tough. plus most of them are from the same state, he's the ONLY in his div. from his home state...whatre the odds of that eh?!

Thanks you guys!! He is doing great! Just a little homesick but he said it gets better every day and he is looking forward to graduation :)

He graduates August 19th!

I am so excited and it's a wonderful feeling! I can't wait to hear from him again!! (:

i know its already been 22 and it seems like yesterday. i dropped my phone in the water last night so i just hoping that he doesnt call because i would be devastated. congrats sara, i hope you end up liking it :) cant wait to see picures
