hey everybody! i havent been on here in a while either. my boyfriend graduated RTC on march 11th and now he's in A school in great lakes. luckily i live in MN and have family in IL so it's pretty easy for me to visit him. after his PIR my spring break was about 3 weeks after that so i went to IL with my mom and we stayed at friends house and he got to be with us 2 weekends in a row. now im going back this upcoming weekend for easter and he can be with us friday and saturday. he finishes A school some time mid-may and after that he will most likely get deployed. While he's on deployment i will be shipping off to boot camp myself. It's an exciting journey for both of us and i am excited but i have been getting sad thinking about how and when we will be able to see each other once we're both in the navy. so we're taking advantage of getting to see each other now.
that was a long post but i've been wanting to get all of that off my chest! i hope everyone is doing well in their navy life!
maybe
"Every hello makes goodbye worthwhile"?
Great idea though:)
hello ladies!
So I'm getting my husbands wedding band (a month later haha) and i wanted to get it engraved on the inside and i was thinking about putting this
Being able to say hello makes saying goodbye worth it.
does that make sense? I feel like it's worded weird.
I'm TRYING to say that getting to see him makes even the hardest thing (saying goodbye) worth it.
Nicole I missed you also, I have been studying non stop finals are coming up and so is summer break. Connor gets out of training in June and I hope I get to see him,but who knows we have been having some problems.
What have you been up to??
Hey Ladies
I haven't been on here in awhile. I remember when I first became a Navy gf and this group was created, I have gone through so much and so has everyone else, we have all had our ups and downs. Breakups marrages and births, I am so glad to have met everyone of you and to hear your stories, I can't ever express how much you ladies mean to me, thank you for all being here for me and for each other.
Corie
Ladies...thank you all for your friendship and listening ear...I haven't been on for quite some time due to the fact that my children's father decided against remaining part of our family upon entering the navy.
Sooooo....I don't comment here anymore...but I have moved on in my life. Our girls are growing into healthy, happy children and I am much stronger and wiser for having the 'experience' of sending off and then separating myself from such a painful relationship.
I don't wish him harm...that is not my nature...but I do wish 'that' sailor safety in his job, hope for his future, joy - when he can take the time to find it, peace - even in spite of life's trials and difficulties. And maybe one day...one day...he might see it in his heart to love our children. But in the meantime...Momma is here to love them to the fullest capacity that God has given me. May God bless you all as you love your sailors. Peace to you all. Love... a former Navy Girlfriend.
welcome corpsmansgirl!!!:)))
youll really enjoy this group, tons of info and kind words. if you ever need to vent, we're here to listen:)
