it's too keep em' focused..sometimes they do that like right before BS21.(battlestations) to keep them on their A game..incase something bad were to come in a letter & get them down i assume.

oh okay. i wonder why they couldnt just get their mail after practice.
Comment by StaceyW (MM Nuke Girlfriend) on February 11, 2011 at 6:01pm
Nope. His DIV has been having to practice in the drill hall during the time that they are allowed to get their letters. They're having to practice their routine for graduation. He did say that they were having trouble getting some letters out due to the snow.

aww that's so cute lol good luck with him meeting the family! I'm sure it'll go great!

I just got my sixth letter yesterday! My Sailor is doing great, only three more weeks until his PIR!! His Div wasn't able to get their mail Thursday-Sunday, they were supposed to finally get all of their mail Monday morning, I really hope they did. In his letter he seemed like he was having a bit of a rough time, he's still his normal, funny self, but it was like he just wanted to come home, I wish I could give him a big hug and kiss! I think it's just from the lack of letters, which is his support from home, not to mention he thinks he might have the flu.  I just hope the letters helped cheer him up :)

Comment by nicole~a sailors girl(: on February 10, 2011 at 8:30pm

Yes yes, always keep it professional. We show no interest in eachother during DEP. We believe keeping the two seperate because of chiefs hassaling..it would be best to keep it seperate and not tell them! i got to see him tonight & kissed him for the first time..tomorrow he meets the family.....OH MY!

Thanks girls!:)

Hows your lives with your babes?!
