I'm excited for you too!! I think from the outside everyone worries about the running and then when they get in its always the stuff that sounds the easiest that is like "WHOA!" lol

Try to maybe look up (i dont know if its on google or not) but there are only like 3 acceptable ways for you to do the swimming test.. He had everything else down but he had said the swimming was almost impossible with how they want you to do it- so work on that the most!! Lol if your a gymnast then the running and situps will probably be a breeze :)

oh yeah. no smoking for me. nopenope.

and im excited. i do need to go back to the gym. i mean, when it comes down to it, i can get it done. because i was a gymnast since i was little and all the way up til age 15. so i miraculousy still have some of that strength. i need to work on running!

Lol like I said he didnt end up doing it so i dont remember the exact requirements but they were crazy.. You had to be way faster than bootcamp times lol... You being young will def be an advantage!! And dont smoke! For sure thats what did him in and the trainer used to tease him lol

time will FLY! it seems like it does that a lot these days lol. but thats a good break down. and SO exciting!!! and yes, for AIRR, make yourself a gym rat/fitness fiend lol. Even though im not going in for that, im still slowly turning myself into a work out freak. and over the summer will be nonstop so im ready for boot. (i got lazy once winter started so im slowly getting back into working out)

nicole lee have they let you train with the trainers for the rescue swimming program?? If not yet then they probably will before hand.. They approached my bf about 4mo before he left to try and get him to do it.. Im not sure what he had done that his Recruiter decided to ask him too but theres a whole different test you take before leaving for bc.. They gave him an instructor and a temp gym membership at the YMCA.. Ultimately he decided 4 mo wasnt long enough for him to feel confortable going for it so he stuck w/ doing his Aviation Mechanic but if you start early enough they'll def help you do it!! The Navy has treated us both pretty well and hes just in bootcamp!! lol
