Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

how long was it before you all started getting letters.. all i have gotten so far is the papers telling me when he graduates and it had the 3 lines at the bottom.. he sounded fine but i still havent gotten a letter.

He started in October and goes until December. I want to go to his graduation but he is a grad and go.

I grew up wanting to be a princess married to a prince.
Now I'm all grown up and I'm still a princess but now I want to be married to a sailor. <3

yay NS <3 JS im glad you got that address. now you can send all them letters you been writing.. lol. Chad said when he first got my letters it was 3 weeks worth..lol. lots to read cause i wrote EVERYDAY.

he is finally moving over to a school wednesday. so happy. school is 4 weeks then the MR is home for holiday :) and he said he has a special gitft for me......

I hear that a lot about missing getting the letters. Luckily he has always been a letter writer for me. He has written me quite a few letters before he left I've always loved that about him. Hopefully it will continue after RTC.. I'm sure it will though. I'm glad he wrote me a lot of letters before he left because now I read them and it brings me right back to the moment he gave it to me
